The 31 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster Pickup is absolutely 1 of, if not, the best that there is anywhere! Everybody who's seen it, car people & non-car people alike go nuts over it & everybody's said it's the best they've seen. It was a good, solid, rust-free California truck before being restored. The restoration required only 6 months in the owner's spare time to complete & is done to correct & exacting standards, as is evidenced by the National 1st Place Award Badge on the headlight bar. The body is uncut & the fenders are absolutely perfect & have never been damaged! The color of the body is a correct-for-31, rare & striking Poppy Red with Pitch Black fenders & wheat wheels. It is finished in hand-rubbed lacquer & features all of the available optional accessories offered, such as the dual side mount spare tires, wheel spoke covers & trim rings, wide whitewall tires, wind wings with peep mirrors, cowl lights, radiator guard & quail radiator cap.The owner/restorer is a long-time Model A club member & judge & sought this particular truck out because of its low-production & rarity of body style, as well as it's condition before he brought it back to better-than-new standards! The bottom of the truck is just as detailed as the top side! And, no, it doesn't drive like shiny junk, he knew what he was doing when he re-assembled it. Taking into consideration its almost 80 yrs. old & lacks ANY modern driveline & suspension technology that we take for granted today, it drives well@45-50 MPH.
