340 V-8 ENGINE

The reported-original 340-cu.in. OHV V8 mates to a four-speed manual transmission.
The H-code engine, with a four-barrel carburetor, was originally rated at 240 horsepower.
A Holley four-barrel carburetor has replaced the original Thermoquad.
A non-original chrome air cleaner and aftermarket chrome valve covers have been installed.
The seller reports no start-up or performance issues with the engine.
The complementing four-speed gearbox transfers engine power to an 8.75-inch rear axle.
It has the Sure Grip limited-slip differential and 3.23 gears.
The car's Bright Blue Metallic paintwork matches the "GB5" paint code on the broadcast sheet.
During the restoration, the car was painted with basecoat/clearcoat materials, including the floors.
There are no known history of previous body damage.
There is no known rust in the restored sheet metal.
