A significant part of the restoration was the replacing the original frame with a new factory correct unit. Power comes from a strong 327 cubic-inch V8 sourced from 1965, with performance upgrades including electronic ignition. The engine fires up instantly, settles into a smooth idle, and delivers responsive performance. And, it has a 4-speed, as any respectable sports car should!

The underside of the car is as impressive as the topside, reflecting the quality of the restoration and the care taken since. Driven sparingly to local shows, it has not yet been formally judged, but it consistently earns compliments from fellow enthusiasts — including seasoned Corvette owners.
